No matter how unskilled you are, you have something to teach someone else, because there is someone less skilled than you. It’s all about finding that person and sharing your wisdom with them. They benefit and you benefit.
You benefit because teaching is BY FAR the best way to learn. For one, it forces you to articulate what you’re learning into words — makes you put it into words. And, it forces you to manipulate the thing you’re learning into a shape that fits someone else’s mind. You have to mold the information to suit the mind of your student. You have to translate it into their language. This makes you see sides and angles of the information that you never noticed before. And — this is the less fun part, but — teaching a concept to someone else makes you realize how many parts of the concept you actually didn’t understand.
